The dead sea is not a beach holiday on the shores of other seas. It is a health resort of world scale. There are no foam parties, no night discos, no noisy entertainment.
Holiday villages:
*Ein-Bockek is the only resort in the European sense of the word. 12 hotels, several shopping centers and cafes.
*Hamei-Zoar -3 hotels and spa complex a few kilometers from Ein Bokek. There is no resort infrastructure, up to civilization - 1.5-2 km to Neve-Zoar and 3 km to Ein-Bokek. Two hotels work according to the system «all included».
*Neve-Zoar - home rest by the sea. In kibbutz Neve Zoar you can stay in small private guest houses and apartments with kitchen. There is a downside: even though the village is near the Dead Sea, but there is no beach. The nearest one is in Hamei Zoar, 1.5-2 km away by a group of hotels. Transport to the beach.
*Ein-Gedi is an oasis and kibbutz in the national park. A nice spa hotel in the middle of the desert, surrounded by a green garden, but rest is not meant on the coast, but a few kilometers away. But it’s a very, very beautiful park. There are mountain goats and dams walking around. Transport to the beach.
In the absence of a SPA, other hotels offer free visits to the complex. Specialized spas are located in Ein Gedi and Hamei Zoar.
Holidays with children:
Children and adolescents are not allowed to visit spa centres in many hotels.
Be careful not to get seawater in the children’s eyes and mouth!
In hotels «everything is included» is good for children’s animation. However, there are only two such hotels on the Dead Sea - Herods Dead Sea Hotel 5* and Leonardo Club Hotel Dead Sea - All Inclusive 4*.
